This course addresses examination and assessment of headache, dizziness, temporo-mandibular joint dysfunction, cervical and thoracic symptoms. Examination and manual intervention for peripheral symptoms will make up approximately 35% of the course, with conditions of the axial skeleton making up approximately 65% of course. This course is approximately 80% laboratory. Topics in this course will include • Thrust manipulation of the lumbar spine and SIJ. • Philosophies and application of Maitland, Cyriax, Lewit, Janda, Mulligan, Travell, Mennell, Evjenth, Kaltenborn, Butler, and McKenzie techniques will utilized in both lecture and lab settings. • Neurodynamic testing and intervention will be incorporated in the course • Current evidence regarding examination and intervention will be included.
