Health Careers Adventure Camp 2024
The Health Careers Adventure Camp offers participants entering the 7th and 8th grades the opportunity to experience firsthand the challenges, opportunities and rewards of health professions through hands-on learning sessions provided by faculty and practicing clinicians. Campers will be supervised by faculty and students currently enrolled in the health sciences educational programs and will have the opportunity to explore potential healthcare related skill sets through thought provoking interdisciplinary activities.
Students will gain exposure to a variety of professions including, but not limited to exercise science, athletic training, dental hygiene/dentistry, nursing, occupational therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician assistant, social work, speech-language pathology, and surgical tech.
In addition to partnerships in the Quad-Cities, students will travel to the University of Iowa Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy for learning experiences on Wednesday, July 17th. On-site supervision, t-shirt, team bag, daily snacks and lunch, and transportation to and from learning experiences are all included in the program fee.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
9:30am-4:00pm
Campers can be dropped off as early as 9:00am and be picked up by 4:30pm.
Friday
9:30am-1:00pm
Campers can be dropped off as early at 9:00am and will need to be picked up by 1:30pm.
Refund Policy: Program fees are refundable, minus a $25 processing fee, up to 5:00pm, June 28, 2024.
